Welcome to the Risk Communication in Rural Settings website. This site contains a Rural Risk Communication Toolkit designed to put ready-to-use materials in the hands of local health department frontline staff to improve risk communication efforts during a disaster or emergency, placing particular emphasis on challenges encountered in rural settings. This toolkit also provides "How-to" guides that are one-page tip sheets to help you decide which materials are best for your situation and the things to consider when creating those materials. We hope that you find this toolkit useful.
