When communicating during a Biological Event, there are many challenges encountered in rural settings. Rural Public Health officials often face barriers that can hinder their ability to effectively communicate with the public and partner agencies during a disaster or emergency. Some of the challenges consist of: lack of technology, fewer traditional media outlets and limited resources and staff, just to name a few. In this section, you will be provided with both materials and tips on getting the maximum use out of the various products.
